I’ve just had a co-worker out for a week with some sort of virulent illness, and people here at my library are dropping like flies. I’ve heard that it is the same across libraries, schools, and pretty much everywhere else.
Why? It is flu season! Despite flu season occurring every year, we still seem to be caught unawares by the autumnal sickness. And to add on the fears about the H1N1 virus – well, working with other people has never seemed less sanitary.
Tips to Prevent Flu & the spread of it:
1. Wash your hands regularily
2. Wipe down your workspace
3. Cough & sneeze into a tissue or your “corner”
4. Call in sick if you are sick
