Ashley Van Dijk graduated from UFV with the Library and Information Technology diploma in 2009, and is currently working towards a BA in Adult Education. Ashley works as a Library Assistant in a university in the lower mainland. She has been involved with LTAS since 2011 and contributing to the blog since 2012.
Heather Duff has been contributing to this blog since 2009 and coordinated it 2011-14. She completed Langara College’s Library and Information Technology program in 2008 and has been working as a library and records assistant for an engineering/environmental firm in Vancouver.
Liza Capdecoume is a Library + Information Tech at a K-12 school in Vancouver. She enjoys making good use her skills as a graphic designer at her various library related involvements. She is the Marketing and Design Coordinator for LTAS, and the Art Director for YAACing magazine. She has been contributing to this blog since 2011.
Megan Neilans is a cataloguer at Library Bound-West. I have worked in a variety of library settings in between attaining a library tech diploma from SAIT, a BA in History from TRU and 2/3 of a MLIS from UWO.
Stephen Karr completed his Library and Information Technology diploma at Langara College in 2009. He has been involved in LTAS since 2009, and has been a blog contributor since 2012. He currently works as a Cataloguer at Library Bound Inc.
Mary Afonso contributed to this blog in 2010 and 2011. She graduated from the Langara College Library and Information Sciences program in 2010, then worked in public and academic libraries. Previous to the program she completed 3 years at Capilano University where her favourite subject was German. When not working, she attempts to read the many, many books that catch her eye while working at the library.
Phil Menger contributed to this blog 2011-13, and we hope he will be able to return soon. He is a Library Technician, lifelong student, writer, photographer, philosopher, voracious reader, walker, bicyclist, and movie addict.
Sarah Felkar ran and coordinated this blog during 2009-2011 while working as a Library Assistant in West Vancouver Memorial Library’s Community Computing Centre. She graduated from SFU with a BA in Psychology in 2007 and finished Langara’s library technician program in April 2009. She joined LTAS at some point in 2009, and her previous blogging experiences were nowhere near as official or library related as this project.
Tanya Brayer contributed to this blog during 2009-2010. She is a graduate of the Douglas College Basic Musicianship program, where she majored in vocal performance (Class of 2008). Tanya completed the Library Information and Technology Program at Langara College in Vancouver in 2010. Tanya joined LTAIG in March 2009 and was excited to make her first foray into blogging as a part of this organization.
